CREATIVE DIRECTION - DESIGN - ILLUSTRATION

Born in Boston with early years in Europe, it was those warm summer days in California exploring nature, both wild and urban, that had its greatest influence.

As a child, I lived full-time with my father in a quiet suburb of San Francisco. On weekends, I would brave various public transit systems and nefarious city streets to visit my Mothers in San Francisco. The city was filled with energy, diversity, thriving small businesses, music, cafes, and art everywhere you looked. Negotiating these different worlds as a young child was such a gift to me, helping nurture my empathy and fine-tune my observation skills. I loved, and still love, exploring different environments, people, and cultures, and studying everything I can about the human condition.

It is the human condition, the commonalities and differences, strengths, and frailties, that are of most interest to me. I see, hear, and feel things that often go unnoticed. It is these gifts that drive me to create – in all its varied manifestations.

Professionally, I am a highly collaborative and strategic Creative Director with 20+ years of leading and inspiring creative and marketing professionals.
